When I was young I wondered if I would ever travel outside New York State. There had been some trips to adjacent states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Massachusetts, Ontario Canada) and some I was too young to remember. In 1959 our family started taking camping trips in northeastern USA and southeastern Canada. My own travels for pleasure and for business have greatly increased the list. By 1974 I had been in all 50 states of the USA and all of the mainland Canadian provinces.
