Edmond W. Holroyd, III (born 11 January 1945) is a Christian, mostly of Lutheran background.
Educational background: B.S. in astrophysics (1966, University of Rochester, New York), Ph.D. in atmospheric science (1971, State University of New York at Albany), continuing education in geology (early 1990s, Colorado School of Mines).
Employment: Atmospheric research scientist, C.S.I.R.O., Division of Cloud Physics, Epping, NSW, Australia 1971-1974. Research meteorologist, Research physical scientist, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., 1974-2005. Work has been in weather modification research and remote sensing.
Adjunct professor, teaching graduate courses in remote sensing and image processing at the University of Denver (since January 1999) and at the Denver campus of Webster University (since June 2005).
